    Hey Ben and Everyone

First, let me say that the Moon Phaser is one of the best phasers I've heard. I knew I had to have it the moment I saw your demo video, Ben. It's so lush and dreamy!

But alas, I've been having a recurring problem with it for the last several weeks. It behaves inconsistently. Sometimes it works as the Moon Phaser I fell in love with, but sometimes and for no apparent reason (that is, without any abnormal noises or flickering) it stops acting as a phaser and acts as a vibrato pedal.

Now, I saw in the Titan demo video that if you plug a dummy patch cable to the MP's stereo output, the pedal acts as a vibrato. This is what he does in my case, except that he does it when no patch cable is attached. Sometimes I would switch it on and it would just come up as a vibrato. Sometimes it would start working as a phaser, and then switch to vibrato. Sometimes it's the other way around.

I have no way of knowing or controlling when the pedal acts as either. The pedal does not give any type of warning (that is, no noises or LED flickering or anything). I have not touched the internal pot or anything.

Have you any idea what this problem is and how to fix it? I would appreciate any information because I love my Moon Phaser Pray

    Thanks
    Idan from Israel

Hi Idan, well traced problem wise - it sounds like the stereo output socket may have faulted - possibly just needs to have a guitar lead plugged into it and then removed to sort it out. Please email me at ben@redwitchanalogpedals.com and we'll make sure everything gets sorted.

    Hey Ben

Thanks for your reply. An email is on its way to you, but I should mention that I did, more than once, try to plug a patch cable to the stereo output and then remove it, and the problem still persisted. d'oh!

Thanks in advance for your help!
